BATIST Medical acquired Docworld Portugal and Docworld Spain

Docworld Portugal and Docworld Spain (“Docworld”) announces today its acquisition by BATIST Medical (“BATIST”), a pan-European supplier of medical products and services to the healthcare markets, which offers similar value proposition, and is Docworld cooperating partner for more than a decade.
As a part of the BATIST Medical Group, Docworld will benefit from the innovation power of an internationally exposed company in a fast-growing environment of public and private healthcare systems across Europe.
Docworld will accretive contribute to the top and bottom line growth of the consolidated businesses.
As an enlarged business, BATIST will apply best practices across the entire organization, thereby using its experience and know-how to increase patient-relevant outcomes and attract further growth.
The terms of the deal are subject of mutual confidentiality of both parties.

The former Docworld owners remain in the business in leading functions, safeguarding the continuity of the leadership and prosperous future for the consolidated entity, its associates and their families.
